The Hydronics Institute Division of GAMA has reintroduced its I=B=R schools with six sessions in four states. The courses were held in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Minnesota during November with approximately 220 students in attendance.

The two-day sessions introduced the fundamentals of hydronic system design, heat loss calculations, pipe sizing and installation, indirect water heating and several related topics, taught by instructor Dan Almeida. Snips' parent company, BNP Media, promotes and manages the courses.

HI Education Committee Chairman Joe Coppola said he was pleased with the turnout and revised classes.

"We received a number of very positive comments, plus additional requests for content that will allow us to expand and refine our courses in the future," said Coppola.

I=B=R schools resume in the spring and fall of 2004 with 20 locations currently under consideration. For details on the upcoming dates and locations, visit www.bnp.com/conferences. For more information on the HI Division of GAMA, visit www.gamanet.org.
