WaterFurnace honors commercial representatives

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - WaterFurnace International honored its top commercial representatives for 2002 at the company's annual sales meeting. Chesapeake Systems of Beltsville, Md., won the WFI Award for best sales in 2002. Chesapeake Systems has represented WaterFurnace geothermal and water-source heating and cooling systems in Maryland, Delaware and northern Virginia for nine years. Chesapeake Systems and Brilco Inc., both of Des Moines, Iowa, were honored for top sales in WaterFurnace's east and west regions, respectively. Brilco joined WaterFurnace in fall 2000 and is focused on the educational and institutional markets within Iowa. Other commercial representatives honored for outstanding sales included Gartner & Associates, Omaha, Neb.; Rome, Eddleman & Associates, Knoxville, Tenn.; Thermal Air Systems, Indianapolis; Pier Associates, Akron, Ohio; Quality Applied Systems, Fort Wayne; and Brake & Hegyan, Alpharetta, Ga. Rome, Eddleman & Associates also was honored for top growth in 2002. "WaterFurnace experienced tremendous growth in the commercial and institutional segments of our market in 2002 and this was a direct result of the success of our commercial representatives," said Richard Conkling, manager of commercial sales. Tony Cooper, WaterFurnace vice president for sales and marketing, said 2002 sales were more than $50 million.
