June sales for wholesalers could not sustain the torrid May pace, according to the Northamerican Heating, Refrigeration & Airconditioning Wholesalers Association (NHRAW).

Regions 4 (OH, MI); 6 (MN, IA, NE, MO, KS, ND, SD); 8 (OK-AR-:A-TX); and 11 (Canada) participants reported declines at median. Still, midway through 2000, sales improvement stands at +10.16% over '99, according to NHRAW.

Three months' average days accounts receivables at 47.69 is up slightly from 46.21 days reported the previous month.

On a company sales volume basis, four of the seven categories reported sales declines, while all others indicated sales improvement - with companies with sales between $6 million to $7.5 million leading the way at +18.99%.
