KINGSTON, N.C. - Field Controls is celebrating 75 years in the draft, venting, and combustion air technology industry. Ted Field founded the company in 1927 in Evanston, Ill. Field Controls originally specialized in large, custom build draft controls for industrial applications.

Though Field has diversified its product lined to include venting and combustion products, the company said it remains the worldwide leader in the manufacture of draft controls for oil, gas, and solid fuel installations.

"We've been fortunate to have enjoyed a great working relationship with both contractors and original equipment manufacturers," said Field Controls president Patrick Holleran. "Their input and confidence have inspired us to create new products and expand our distribution."

Field Controls products are now available from more than 4,000 wholesalers throughout North America and are included on a variety of equipment made by leading hvac manufacturers.
