Pizza chain chooses PowerCold equipment
LARGO, Fla. - PowerCold ComfortAir Solutions Inc. has entered into a sales and marketing agreement to provide Domino's Pizza stores with its DesertMaster HVAC system.
The three-year agreement establishes PowerCold as an approved vendor for the franchise with opportunities to retrofit existing Domino's stores.
Designed for humid climates, the DesertMaster is a supplemental cooling system that can reduce energy costs by up to 20 percent and eliminate the need for some additional air-conditioning equipment, according to PowerCold.
The system's fresh-air units will be equipped with plastic heat exchanger coils made of DuPont Caltrel plastic. The company reports that the plastic coils do not deteriorate over time and provide continuous heat transfer.
"We are pleased to be part of the Domino's franchisee association and look forward to helping members create a healthier store environment while reducing operating costs," said Robert Yoho, president of PowerCold Solutions Inc. "Our partnership will ensure that franchisees receive the most innovative and cost-effective HVAC solutions on the market today and the PCS receives an enhanced sustainable platform for future growth and innovation."
