Fume hood monitor
December 1, 2000
This company says its fume hood monitor is an easy, cost-effective way to continuously measure fume hood face velocity. It uses a side wall sensor calibrated to each fume hood's unique characteristics. The Model 8612 EverWatch Fume Hood Monitor has a red light, audible alarm and a remote alarm relay contact that warns of unsafe velocity levels. A green light signals when flow conditions are normal. The unit meets OSHA, NFPA and ANSI Z9.5 requirements. Once installed, it only requires low alarm calibration.
