CHICAGO - John Delano of William J. Perkinson Co. in Chicago was elected president of the Chicagoland Sheet Metal Contractors Association at the group's October board meeting. He succeeds Richard Ralph of Kirby Sheet Metal Works Inc. in Chicago, who remains on the board as immediate past president.

Officers elected at the membership meeting include Vice President William L. Niehoff Jr., Fresh Aire Test & Balance in Lemont, Ill.; and Secretary-Treasurer Jack Baer of AMS Mechanical Systems Inc. in Burr Ridge, Ill.

Elected to three-year terms on the board of directors were James Cesak, Tal-Mar Custom Metal, Crestwood, Ill.; and Michael Vinci, Advance Mechanical Systems Inc., Mt. Prospect, Ill.

They join current board members John Comforte, Climatemp Inc., Chicago; John P. Harmon, Builders Heating Inc., Crestwood; John C. Lindemulder, Amber Mechanical Contractors Inc., Alsip, Ill.; Patrick J. Ludvigsen, Air Dynamics Inc., Wheeling, Ill.; and Richard Ralph of Kirby Sheet Metal Works Inc.

The Chicagoland Sheet Metal Contractors Association represents union contractors involved with HVAC, architectural sheet metal, pollution control, materials handling, roofing, testing, balancing and retrofit work.
