PowerCold announces project management program

New PowerCold division will coordinate and manage design, engineering and extended services.

LARGO, Fla. - PowerCold Corp. has started a national design-build project management services program, expanding the operations of its applied building technology division to supply complete turnkey design-build project management services for major national hotel, restaurant and retail chains.

The division will coordinate and manage the design, engineering, and extended service for new and retrofit building projects, including HVAC equipment, building automation controls, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and permitting. The company will rely on the construction trades industry to build, install and service projects using general contractors and mechanical contractors that are members of PowerCold's National Associates Alliance.

"ABT will provide a single point of contact for our customers," said Dean Stadtlander, director of the new division. "Retrofit projects or large national roll-out programs can be handled without the need for in-house design and project management staff. Synergies provided by having national design, supplier and construction partners reduce cost and increase the efficiency of building programs."
