MoreFALLS CHURCH, Va. - The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association recently welcomed Bennette Design Group Inc. as a PHCC Logo Partner.
As a part of the program, BDG products will bear the PHCC logo.
BDG specializes in the design and manufacture of professional-grade ergonomic plumbing tools, including the Plumber's Pad and Plumber's Wedge, as well as its Drop Cloth and Knee N' Back Pad, all of which will feature the PHCC logo on its packaging.
"All of us at BDG are committed to meeting the workplace health and comfort, or ergonomic, needs of the plumbing and HVACR industry," said BDG President Rob Bennette. "By partnering with PHCC, we can raise the awareness throughout the industry of the importance of using tools that improve job safety and help reduce injuries to professional tradesmen."
"The construction industry has been identified as one of the industries with a high level of ergonomic-related injuries," said Jim Stack, chairman of the PHCC Logo Partner Task Force. "PHCC advocates continuing voluntary ergonomics measures in the workplace instead of instituting federally mandated rules. BDG's expertise in this area can help us educate our members about the specific risk factors for our industry and steps they can take to reduce them."
