A new air handler from Nordyne has
won a Silver Dealer Design Award from the Air
Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News.
The B6EMMX Anteater MC Air Handler with Micro-Channel coils won in the HVAC Residential Equipment category. Nordyne officials say the coils of the air-handling unit are notable because they use an all-aluminum design, making them more resistant to corrosion, needing less maintenance, and lighter weight than typical copper tube coils.
“Nordyne is continuing its tradition of producing reliable, hard-working systems,” said Matt Lattanzi, the company’s director of product management. “We are always looking for new ways to provide complete comfort and genuine value to the heating and air industry, and the B6EMMX air handler does just that.”
There were 81 products entered in this year's contest, which were judged by a 29-contractor panel.
