Jackson Systems launches zone-control certification

INDIANAPOLIS - Jackson Systems LLC has developed Jackson Systems University, a program for zone control certification for individuals and companies.

According to Jackson Systems, the certification is offered on the Comfort Zone product line: Z-300, Z-1600 and Zone One. Each exam focuses on helping individuals learn the benefits of zone control as well as the technical information on the products. Coursework for the exams include sales literature, technical guides and installation manuals.

Individuals passing an exam with an 80 percent or better score are eligible for zone-control certification and receive recognition with a zone-control patch. An official certification accompanies each patch along with a formal letter of acknowledgement.

Companies may become a zone-control-certified company when 75 percent or more of their field employees have scored over 80 percent on a zone-control exam. Certified companies are also provided with recognition and listed on the Jackson Systems Web site as a residential-, commercial- or residential and commercial-certified company.

More than 70 individuals have been certified, as have the following companies: Ace Mechanical in Indianapolis; Air Systems Plus in Whittier, Calif.; CMS Refrigeration in Bordentown, N.J.; Connersville Heating in Connersville, Ind.; Coziahr Heating in Council Bluffs, Iowa; DHL Home Services in Beltsville, Md.; Lafayette Heating & Cooling in Lafayette, Ind.; Major Systems in Wauwatosa, Wis., and Perfect Heating and Air in Poway, Calif.
