Heat-Timer has met international standards for quality management, according to ISO 9001:2000.

FAIRFIELD, N.J. - Heat-Timer Corp. has completed the registration process for ISO 9001: 2000. The HVACR and plumbing controls manufacturer achieved the certification following its initial assessment by registrar SGS U.S. Testing Co. Inc.

The standard signifies that Heat-Timer has met international standards for quality management, including programs aimed at improving design, development, delivery and customer service.

"ISO certification improves our access to new markets and our standing with new and existing OEM customers," said Paul Webber, Heat Timer's vice president of engineering. "It shows we are committed to quality."

The company will now be subject to regular internal quality audits, have yearly surveillance quality audits by the ISO registrar, and must undergo a complete audit every three years to renew the certification.
