Hartzell offers service door

Ohio-based Hartzell Air Movement says it says reduces service time and moisture problems in power roof ventilators.

Ohio-based Hartzell Air Movement has a new product that it says reduces service time and moisture problems in power roof ventilators.

“The addition of a zero-leak service door which moves both the propeller and motor out of the airstream has a significant impact on quick service,” said Tom Gustafson, Hartzell’s chief technology officer. “This new design with a zero-leak seal is a reaction to customer requests where critical systems cannot be exposed to moisture as other fans have previously allowed.”

The new service door has several benefits for service technicians, Gustafson added.

“By providing several new features to this service access point, including industry-leading technology in the hinge and seal, the design prevents the seal from being removed during cleaning as users have experienced with other power roof ventilators,” he said.
