ACCA announces award finalists

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America name the finalists for the 2005 Contractor Excellence Awards.

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America recently announced the finalists for its 2005 Contractor Excellence Awards. The winners will be presented with their awards at the association's 2005 Annual Conference & Indoor Expo, March 9-12 in Austin, Texas.

Finalists for ACCA's Excellence in Residential Contracting Award are : AirRite Air Conditioning Co. in Fort Worth, Texas; Castellano AC & Heating Inc. in Tampa, Fla.; Michigan Building & Mechanical in Wyoming, Mich.; and Peaden Air Conditioning & Heating in Panama City, Fla.

The Excellence in Commercial Contracting Award finalists are: Kahn Mechanical Contractors in Dallas, Tri-City Mechanical in Chandler, Ariz.; and Shapiro & Duncan in Rockville, Md.

In the Jeff Forker Award for Excellence in Training category, finalists are: ACCA Arizona in Phoenix, Peaden Air Conditioning & Heating in Panama City, Fla.; and Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, Pa.
