ACCA members who are looking for a little help with the cost of attending the association’s 2018 conference in Washington, D.C., may be in luck.

Several Air Conditioning Contractors of America corporate sponsors will allow cooperative advertising funds — money that manufacturers use to reimburse contractors for the cost of promoting their products — to defray some of the expense of attending the Feb. 12-14, 2018, event.

“Every HVAC contractor wants to grow their business, and every manufacturer wants to help their contracting partners grow,” said the ACCA’s president and CEO, Paul T. Stalknecht. “Allowing contractors to use co-op funds to attend the ACCA conference and IE3 show is testament to the value that contractors receive from ACCA’s business seminars and personal interactions with other contractors. The 2018 show will certainly help contractors ‘up the ante’ in their markets.”

Companies that have agreed to allow use of co-op funds for the conference include Daikin, Goodman, Bryant, Rheem, Carrier and Amana. Contractors should contact local distributors or manufacturer representatives to find out if a manufacturer is participating.

The discounted registration deadline is Nov. 17. Details are available at www.ie3show.com.
