Thybar has introduced its new Retro-mate adapters. The Retro-mate offers a fast, cost-effective method of replacing rooftop HVAC units, company officials say. It includes 1½-inch insulation, transitions, baffles and structural supports that mate the new rooftop unit to the existing curb and ductwork.

Installation time is considerably reduced, and existing ductwork is utilized for even further savings, the company says. The Retro-mate is factory prefabricated of heavy-gauge galvanized or Galvalume steel.
