A Thybar Retro-Mate is custom made to adapt to an existing roof curb of a new rooftop unit.

A Thybar Retro-Mate is custom made to adapt to an existing roof curb of a new rooftop unit. The product saves time and costly roof reconstruction, preserves roofing integrity, reduces system downtime, and takes advantage of existing ductwork, according to Thybar officials. The company also says it has a comprehensive library of new and old rooftop specifications, which allows them to design a matching Retro-Mate without extensive field measurements. The goal of the Retro-Mate is to reduce engineering and construction time to allow for more competitive bidding.
