Ecobee has unveiled its second product, an energy management system. The product is designed for the commercial market. Ecobee says it is ideal in applications where a simple thermostat does not provide adequate controls and functionality and a full-scale building automation system is too complex and cost prohibitive. The Ecobee comes with a dedicated Web portal that allows users to remotely monitor, identify, analyze and troubleshoot performance issues with their HVAC systems. The device also has a full-color touch screen and offers multiple climate programming for occupied and unoccupied schedules
