Milwaukee Electric has introduced new additions to its line of M18 cordless band saws. There are three new compact models that weigh approximately 10 pounds or less. The saws feature a patent-pending tool-free adjustable material shoe for making flush cuts when working with installed materials against walls and ceilings. The company claims that the saws are 45 percent lighter and cut three times faster than previous models. They also cut common materials including 3-inch copper pipe and 2 ½-inch conduit. Each of the three new models have an LED work light. The 2629-22 and 2629-20 models use a lithium-ion battery.
