Woodward-Fab has introduced the WFN6 pipe/tube notching tool. The notcher uses standard hole saw blades to create weld fit-up saddles in tubing up to 3 inches in diameter. The tool is ideal for tube frames, roll bars and frame connectors. According to company officials, it is constructed from CNC machined 3/4 -inch steel plate for maximum rigidity, and the spindle is supported by precision needle bearings for long life. The angle can be adjustable from zero to 90 degrees, and power is supplied by any half-inch hand-drill motor.
