This company launched two new models in its PowerCut line of Plasmarc manual cutting packages. The new PowerCut 1600 and 1300 make cutting easier and more economical with design features to simplify operation, reduce set-up time and enhance consumable life, according to Esab. Through a combination of long parts life, high speeds and simple torch design, the company says that the PowerCut series offers the lowest cost per foot of cut of any machine in its price class. This power is contained within a durable external housing designed to be damage resistant, corrosion resistant and weather resistant while remaining lightweight for portability. A new digital display shows the exact pressure or amperage, and shows help codes to assist in troubleshooting minor errors. Additional features include a side-mounted automatic fan control, built-in power-line conditioner, a torch wrap and spare parts kit holder.
