The recently patented Grease Grabber multistage filtration system is now available in Greenheck kitchen hoods and uses the Greenheck Grease-X-Tractor filter, along with a secondary filter to remove grease from the air. The Grease-Z-Tractor is the primary filter, using centrifugal impaction to remove large grease particles. The two filters remove 100 percent of the particles that are 8 microns or larger in diameter and 80 percent of particles that are 3 microns in diameter, according to the company.
