Air Engineers in Birmingham, Ala., has been a recognized as Trane’s longest-running independent wholesale distributor. The manufacturer recently issued a proclamation to celebrate the company’s 70th anniversary.

The wholesaler serves customers in Alabama and northwest Florida

Air Engineers has a long history of recognition and awards from Trane. The company has earned five Pacesetter awards and a President’s Cup from Trane for its performance and contributions to the markets it serves.

Trane recognized Air Engineers May 5 during its Distributor Alliance Program. Since starting in 2007, the biannual meeting provides an opportunity for staff of Trane independent wholesale distributors to meet with the company’s senior leadership.

“Air Engineers is the longest-running Trane independent distributor with continuous family ownership by the Bissell family,” said Paul Adair, independent wholesaler distributor regional manager for Trane. “Their success over the years is a testament to the value they deliver to the marketplace.”

Hal Bissell, president of Air Engineers, credits Trane for helping his company succeed.
