Emerson Climate Technologies announced its top-performing wholesalers for 2009.

Wholesalers were eligible for three different sales-award categories: peak performance, summit and signature.

“Even in the face of a difficult economy, we saw multiple wholesaler companies achieve significant sales growth, not only for Copeland brand products, but also across all of the Emerson product lines,” said Mark Gibson, vice president and general manager of distribution services. “We are proud of our customers’ steadfast commitment to selling our products, providing reliable customer service and augmenting product availability.”

To qualify for the Peak Performance Award, wholesalers had to achieve 10 percent growth in Copeland brand product sales in 2009. Wholesalers receiving the award included A/C Warehouse Inc., Polar Supply, and Johnstone Supply locations in South Bend, Ind., and Springfield, Ill.

The Summit Award is given to wholesalers achieving an average of 10 percent growth in 2009 across all Emerson product lines they represent. Ed’s Supply Co. in Chattanooga, Tenn., and Florida-based Tropic Supply Inc. received the Summit Award.

To meet the requirements for the Signature Award, authorized full-line wholesalers must achieve an average of 10 percent growth in 2009 across all Emerson product lines. The two wholesaler winners this year were Ohio-based Cleveland Hermetic & Supply, and Dennis Supply Co., which has locations in South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.
