PEWAUKEE, Wis. — The Gustave A. Larson Co. has set its 2005 management and technical training schedule.

In coordination with Business Development Resources, Barry Burnett will be presenting a series of seminars at Larson facilities in Pewaukee, Wis., and Plymouth, Minn. The series began in February with “Hiring, Compensating & Developing a Sales Force,” which teaches HVAC contractors how to recruit, select, interview, hire, compensate and develop salespeople. In March, dealers took part in “Owning the Sales Process,” which taught participants how to generate and manage sales to keep business growing profitably.

In April, the company will present “Top Gun — Installer Excellence,” which will focus on achieving 100 percent customer satisfaction. The training will take a break over the summer, but will return in September with “Structuring for Profit & Growth,” and “Creating a Strategic Business Plan” in October.

At the end of the year, “Labor Management” will be the focus. Dealers will learn the opportunity cost of lost labor hours, as well as how to leverage existing crews into more productive teams.

Larson also announced that it would hold refresher courses for the North American Technician Excellence program

For details on seminars throughout the year, call (262) 542-0200 or visit www.galarson.com.
