CHANTILLY, Va. — Software company Estimation Inc., has committed $250,000 to the SMACNA’s New Horizons Foundation to fund HVAC and sheet metal industry studies.

“Our decision to support the New Horizons Foundation and its programs is, in our view, a sound business strategy,” said Alan Mech, president of Estimation. “Estimation is fully committed to strengthening the HVAC and sheet metal contracting industry’s future. The foundation is developing an excellent track record of working with top U.S. educational institutions and researchers.”

The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association’s New Horizons Foundation has completed five studies. The reports will be presented at upcoming seminars around the country, SMACNA officials said.
