Products from ITW TACC’s Miracle-Kingco brand have earned certification from Underwriters Laboratories and the Greenguard Environmental Institute.

Ultraseal Green was approved by UL for use as mastic in flexible, non-metallic ductwork. A mold-, water- and mildew-resistant fibrous interior- and exterior-grade sealant used in fabricating, sealing and coating ducts, the product meets several criteria for use in green-building projects, officials said.

“Having certifications from UL and Greenguard, and a competitive price point certainly help build interest in Ultraseal Green,” said Sean Tanner, ITW TACC’s HVAC business manager. “That it has Miracle-Kingco standing behind it gives it great clout.”

Ultraseal was given Greenguard’s Children and Schools Certified designation. Company officials say it is the 15th such ITW TACC product to earn that award.
