Lennox announced that it has received the Partners of Choice Award from David Weekley Homes, the nation’s third-largest privately held home construction company.

Lennox received an “A” in service from the homebuilder.

“Lennox has enjoyed an over 10-year relationship with David Weekley Homes,” said John Webster, Lennox director of residential new construction. “Since the inception of the National Trading Partners Survey program, Lennox territory managers and our residential new construction dealers have worked extremely hard to provide exceptional customer service for our customers. Receipt of this prestigious award exemplifies and validates their efforts and is a result of the exceptional customer service provided by our Lennox RNC (residential new construction) dealers. They are to be congratulated.”

The award criteria and selection are based on a national survey, a quarterly review of approximately 150 suppliers rated annually by approximately 1,000 members of David Weekley Homes. Suppliers are rated based on quality and service. Suppliers’ scores are averaged, and a letter grade is assigned.

Of the companies surveyed, only 18 were recognized.

“This survey is truly unique, for it challenges our national trading partners to actively manage the entire supply chain. To be world-class means companies must look beyond their four walls in creating value in the eyes of their customers,” said Bill Justus, vice president of supply chain services for David Weekley Homes. “The survey takes the conceptual to the practical by quantifying our partner’s success in providing goods and services in an effective, efficient manner.”

Founded in 1976, David Weekley Homes is based in Houston and operates in 18 cities across the United States.
