Unico Inc. installed a miniduct central heating and cooling system in the historic James E. Merrill House. The house was recently used by cable-TV network ESPN during the 2005 Super Bowl.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Miniduct heating and air-conditioning manufacturer Unico played a part in this year’s Super Bowl by installing its system at the historic James E. Merrill house, located within view of Jacksonville’s Alltel Stadium, the location for Super Bowl 2005.

Built in 1886 and moved and restored by the Jacksonville Historical Society in recent years, the Queen Anne Victorian home was rented by cable-TV sports network ESPN to entertain during Super Bowl week. When renovations are completed, the house will serve as an annex to the Jacksonville Historical Society headquarters and a museum.
