Ronald J. Palmerick of Aabco Sheet Metal Co. in Ridgewood, N.Y., has been named president of the SMACNA board of directors.

The Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors National Association also named John Ilten of Ilten’s Inc. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as president elect. John Lindemulder of Amber Mechanical Contractors Inc. in Alsip, Ill, was elected secretary/treasurer, while Richard J. Cramer Sr. of Dee Cramer Inc. in Holly, Mich., will act as immediate past president.

New to the executive committee is James Boone of New England Sheet Metal Works in Fresno, Calif. Boone was elected as vice president, and is currently a member of the board of directors, the labor committee, the SMACNA College of Fellows, and several other committees.

Boone’s past service to SMACNA includes a previous term on the board of directors and the executive committee. He is also a member of the Sheet Metal and A/C Contractors of Central California, where he serves as chapter president and chapter councilor.
