The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute’s standards task team announced a review is under way for a proposed standard.

The proposed standard, “BSR/ACCA 5 QI -201x, HVAC Quality Installation Specification,” done in conjunction with the American National Standards Institute, revises minimums dealing with design, equipment selection, distribution and documentation.

The revised standard can be viewed here , and viewers may submit comments at the same site. The comment deadline is Oct. 4.
