Talbot H. Gee, vice president of the Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International, will give the keynote address during the 2009 RSES Annual Conference.

“Regulated, Legislated, and Subsidized: The HVACR Industry’s High Wire Government Relations Balancing Act” will be the focus of Gee’s address during the opening ceremonies of the 72nd Annual Conference Oct. 27-31 in Bloomington, Minn.

As vice president of HARDI since 2006, Gee oversees the association’s government affairs and is heavily involved in marketing, outreach and strategic partnerships that focus on promoting and advancing the interests and value of HVACR wholesale distribution. In addition, Gee is a columnist for the RSES Journal and HVACR Distribution Business, heads up HARDI’s official blog, “Wholesale Observations,” and often contributes to other publications.

“Talbot’s expertise in the area of government relations is why he’s quickly become one of the best-read columnists in the RSES Journal. RSES conference attendees will enjoy insight into a variety of issues that impact HVACR professionals every day,” said RSES Executive Vice President Mark Lowry.
