The Air Conditioning Contractors of America is now accepting application for its 2010 Contractors of the Year program. According to the ACCA, the program has been revamped with more benefits to member participants.

An application for the 2010 program is available on the ACCA Web site, www.acca.org.

“While the program itself remains rigorous, throwing one’s hat into the ring has never been easier,” said Christina Lewellen, director of communications for the ACCA. “Our new, simpler online form gets right to the heart of the matter and asks companies to tell us why they should be considered for the class of 2010 Contractors of the Year. If your company is doing great things, we want to make it easy for you to tell the judges about them.”

The ACCA Contractors of the Year awards program aims to provide ACCA members with marketing opportunities for their businesses.

“You’ll be able to show your customers that you’ve been recognized by a national awards program,” Lewellen said. “In addition to pointing current and potential customers to the Contractor Excellence Web site, where your profile will be posted, you’ll also earn as a finalist the right to use a Contractors of the Year logo on your company’s promotional materials.”

Applications for the program will be accepted until November 13, 2009.

The winners—one residential, one commercial—will be recognized on stage at the annual ACCA conference.
