If you read Snips or visit this Web site often, you know that a lot of HVAC and sheet metal associations, publications and companies have hosted these Internet-based seminars, which offer many of the advantages of attending a class without having to sit at small, uncomfortable desk under harsh lighting.

Webinars offer a chance to learn from experts about the latest trends in a subject or industry. As Snips editor, I am proud to announce that we will be hosting our first Webinar at 2 p.m. EDT March 18. Called “Diversifying and Winning in a Challenging Economy with Autodesk MEP Engineering and EastCoast CAD/CAM Fabrication Solutions,” the 60-minute event is sponsored by EastCoast and Autodesk.

EastCoast President David Derocher, Chief Operating Officer David Quigley and Autodesk’s senior technical marketing manager Armundo Darling will explain all of their products’ latest features and how sheet metal contractors can benefit from them. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
