Never a dull moment at the AHR Expo

The AHR Expo is never boring. There is always something going on. Machines are running at full steam, fans are whirling overheard, attendees are crowding the aisles with eager anticipation.

Each booth has something to try and pull in potential customers. I’ve seen magic tricks, singing quartets, even exhibitors wearing frog costumes. The enthusiasm, on the part of the exhibitors and the attendees, is great to see.

There are also some amazing promotional and marketing ideas. Many booths give something away, from free product samples to candy and even stuffed animals. One of my favorite was also the simplest. At the Midwest Metal Products booth, staff gave away fortune cookies. The fortunes were all unique. Mine said: “Every wise man started out by asking questions. Ask Midwest Metal Products how you can save money on your angle rings!” The back of the fortune had the company’s contact info.

This is one marketing idea that I’ll remember, which goes to show that sometimes the simplest marketing can be the most beneficial.

If you are at the show let us know what you saw and what you were impressed with.

Title: AHR 2012

This was a very successful show for us. We had a lot of quality visitors, new and existing; coming in. This is exactly what we expected from the AHR show.
